Extra Credit for LTEN 21 Fall 2012
Doing this non-graded assignment will change grade weighting to benefit you. Right now the final paper = 35% and the final exam= 30%
If you complete this assignment we will give the heavier weight to the higher of the two grades
For example: If complete the extra credit assignment you get a B on the final paper and an A on the final, the final, rather than the paper will be worth 35%
When is this assignment due?
You are to turn it in—hard copy—when you come to take your final.
Steps:
Be on a UCSD internet connection (on campus or vpn)
Get to the World Shakespeare Bibliography:
http://www.worldshakesbib.org/index.html
You can also get there by going to the Geisel library home page:
Got to Research Tools: Databases and then “W” where you will find the “World Shakespeare Biblio”
Do a Search, using any keyword you want
Save one entry, go to saved list and then email that entry to yourself ,using the note Extra Credit LTEN 21
Print out that email and bring it to the final exam to show that you used the World Shakespeare Bibliography
Et voilà: you have helped preserve the WSB at UCSD and raised your grade all at the same time!
